Description
12 - IL150AIa-1b R9 PCGS MS62 Trace Bright. Klare & Friedrick's Billiard Hall struck in Brass with pool cues and balls pictured. Formerly listed as SNL-2a, should have been listed as Brass not Copper as all known examples are Brass. Current research shows that this business was located in Chicago during the war and it has now been listed as such in the new 3rd edition of the Civil War Store Card book. We sold a Raw EF+ for $1,107 in our December 2017 sale. From the Dave Bowers collection from our October 2002 sale. Listed as IL150ALa-1b on PCGS's holder. Reverse Die: 1205. (1500-2000)
