407 - HT-287 / Low 262 R5 NGC MS62 BN Trace Red with delicate cartwheel luster on the very low relief token. Leverett & Thomas Circular Saws 235 Pearl Street, New York. Very scarce merchant and very rare above EF. We sold another NGC MS62 BN with an unusually strong strike but no red for $1,300 in our February 2021 auction. From the Lumberton collection, earlier from Bowers & Merena's March 1996 auction. (500-750)
