Description

MILLER NY 802A MS64 RB 70% Red more so on the Eagle side. Scovill Manufacturing Company Daguerreotype Materials, New York struck. Struck in Copper with Reeded edge and as such much rarer than the Plain edge variety. We sold a Raw MS64 10% Red example in our December 2017 catalog sale that brought $426. From the Steve Hayden and Don Partrick collections, earlier from Bowers & Ruddy's October 1981 sale.
