297 - PARISIAN / VARIETIES / 16. St & B'WAY. N. Y. on the obverse of an 1876-CC Seated Half Dollar NGC XF Details Coin EF with three reverse digs, counterstamp EF. According to Rulau Parisian Varieties was an erotic show of nubile young ladies in 1875 and 1876. This counterstamp is known on a number of different Half Dollars making for a challenging collection by date and mint mark.
