488 - LOW 364 / HT-M17 R4 Raw MS62 Sharp strike and nearly Proof Like surfaces. Wm. J. Mullen Gold Dial Manufacturer, New York with a detailed reverse scene featuring angels. Struck by Charles Cushing Wright from die cut by Louisa Lander apparently in 1847. A NGC MS63 brought $400 in our February 2014 sale. From the John Ford collection. Removed from a NGC MS63 BN holder identified as Miller NY 616, label included. (200-300)
